On November 14th, 1994, the remains of a man were found in the water of Zijkanaal I, Buiksloterdijk in Amsterdam. They were packed in plastic bags in a suitcase.

Description
The following is known about the suitcase:
- It was made of artificial leather, color light brown
- Length 58 cm, width 37 cm, height 15 cm
- The inside was covered with black fabric
- There were two chrome colored locks and two straps with buckles
A piece of fabric was found insight de case. Presumably a tablecloth. Color beige with a brown floral pattern.
Fourteen days later, on November 28th, 1994, again remains of a man were found in the water of the IJ, near the M.S. van Riemsdijkweg in Amsterdam. The body parts appear to belong to the same man.
The description of the man is as follows:
- height160 - 170 cm
- 30-45 years
- dark hair
The man has been in the water for a long time, no further identification information could be determined.
