Your online fingerprint is the data that is unique to your computer. For example, the software version installed, the country the computer is used in, the display and language settings, but also your web browser preferences and cookies. The combination of this unique data is what leads to a computer being labelled as ‘trusted’ in fraud checks by web shops or banks, for example.
